Using our Advanced Design package, we delivered a fully custom site featuring thoughtful layouts, interactive graphics, and a calming, brand-aligned visual experience.
OICBT (Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) partnered with us to redesign their website with the goal of elevating trust, improving clarity, and providing a polished digital presence that accurately reflects their clinical expertise and patient-centered care. Through our Advanced Design package, we created a highly customized, professional website that sets them apart in a field full of overused visual clichés.
The new website was built on WordPress using our Advanced Design framework, with full customization layered on top of a base template. We used Figma for prototyping, Illustrator and Photoshop for visual asset creation, and integrated functional enhancements including embedded podcast episodes and data visualizations powered by JSON. Every page was thoughtfully designed for both desktop and mobile to ensure an engaging, responsive experience.
OICBT’s previous website lacked visual appeal, had outdated content structure, and failed to convey the quality of their services. In a space crowded with uninspired design tropes, OICBT wanted a fresh start—something clean, modern, and user-friendly that would create a strong first impression and offer a clear counterpoint to misleading online reviews. The challenge was to build a site that balances professionalism with warmth while avoiding generic imagery often found in mental health branding.
This project made full use of our Advanced Design package, allowing us to transform the foundational template into a unique and immersive brand experience. Custom graphic elements, carefully sourced stock photography, and a rich but restrained color palette were all used to express OICBT’s values of integrity, innovation, and client-centered care. Thoughtful use of whitespace, intuitive layouts, and calming visuals support the site's emotional tone—professional, but not clinical; modern, but still human.
To support OICBT’s diverse services and client demographics, we created tailored layouts for key content areas like treatment approaches, clinician bios, and FAQs. Custom interactive charts help demystify complex therapy frameworks, while an embedded podcast player connects users with expert voices in mental health. Each element was designed to build confidence, answer questions, and support users in taking the next step toward care.
