Seamless Design for Education Newsletters

We partnered with Edtomorrow, an education resource provider, to redesign their website with a modern, inviting look that aligned with a previous resource database we had built. The site was developed to host and archive daily newsletters, giving teachers an accessible platform to explore past and future resources in a user-friendly environment.

Overview

Our team delivered a comprehensive website redesign and development, along with UI and UX design, to create an engaging and user-friendly experience. We also handled project management from planning through launch, ensuring the final product reflected the client’s modern approach to resource sharing and offered teachers easy access to past and future newsletters.

Built With

We used Figma for wireframing and mockups, and Photoshop for creating engaging visuals. WordPress served as the primary platform, while Advanced Custom Fields enabled flexible backend content management. Calendar Anything powered the archive calendar, and Search & Filter Pro ensured teachers could easily locate resources within the blog.

Key Considerations

  • 4 Daily Newsletters
  • 1 Daily Brain Game
  • Calendar Archive for Past Newsletters and Brain Games
  • Seamless Section Transitions
  • Mass Asset Storage

Multiple Daily Newsletter Singles

Every morning, the client distributes four unique newsletters tailored to different age groups, each filled with engaging content, including memes, activities, prompts, videos, and games. We developed a custom newsletter template that allows the client to easily create, schedule, and publish content to their website for the correct release date. The system also introduced lightbox functionality, enabling teachers to present visuals directly from the site in an engaging, classroom-friendly format. This streamlined process makes it effortless for the client to deliver and archive consistent, high-quality educational content.

Interactive Calendar Archive

Teachers often need to revisit resources from prior days, weeks, or even months. To meet this need, we built a calendar archive powered by Calendar Anything. Each day in the calendar includes links to all four newsletters plus an additional Brain Game resource, providing a centralized hub of past content. Teachers can navigate in month, week, or day views, or quickly scroll back to earlier dates with the minimalist interface. The result is a practical, efficient system that ensures all past resources remain accessible with just a few clicks.

Unified, Seamless Design

The client envisioned a site that felt smooth and continuous, avoiding the disjointed look of many educational websites. To achieve this, we used gradients at the top and bottom of each section, blending them together for seamless transitions. Light background patterns added texture without distraction, preserving readability and flow. These design elements created a visually engaging experience while reinforcing the client’s modern, friendly brand identity.
