


We partnered with Earthrise Building Services to refresh their logo, build a bold visual identity, and design a custom website that reflects their leadership in sustainable retrofitting across Northern Canada.
As Yukon’s premier retrofit accelerator, Earthrise needed a brand that could grow with its vision. Their original logo lacked scalability and sophistication, and their existing website did little to communicate the unique, community-driven impact of their work. Our challenge was to create a fresh, memorable identity that reflected their core values—sustainability, innovation, and people—while appealing to both First Nations housing departments and environmentally conscious property owners.
We approached the Earthrise brand refresh using our full design toolkit—starting in Illustrator to develop refined, scalable logo concepts, then moving to Figma to build a flexible visual system and page designs. The final logo package included both primary and simplified mark versions for various applications, supported by a comprehensive brand guide and a fully custom-designed presentation deck. We explored multiple logo directions, ultimately landing on a refined mark inspired by Earthrise’s original concept. The final version features intersecting planetary shapes that subtly reference Earth and the Moon. Smooth corners and flat geometric construction give the icon a refined, architectural feel. The overall shape nods to celestial bodies and tools of the trade, with subtle references to horizons, sunrise, and innovation through its flowing lines and balance of shapes. Combined with a strong, all-caps sans-serif logotype, the result is a confident, contemporary identity rooted in meaning and built for growth.
Beyond the logo, we developed a cohesive visual identity grounded in clean geometry, vibrant accents, and natural textures. Photography direction focused on imagery that blends space and earth perspectives: satellite views, northern homes, construction scenes, and nightscapes that evoke warmth and community. Color choices balance professionalism and boldness, leaning on deep navy and sky blue tones with a strong yellow accent to bring energy and optimism. These elements came together in collateral like slide decks and the website design to support Earthrise’s evolving story as a leader in green building innovation.
We delivered a full brand identity system ready for real-world use, including the logo suite, detailed brand guidelines, and a custom-designed PowerPoint deck. The accompanying website designs built on this foundation, showcasing the brand’s story with immersive visuals, purposeful typography, and a flexible layout system tailored to their needs. With a distinct and refined identity now in place, Earthrise is well-equipped to grow their presence and impact across Yukon and beyond.
